One of the relaxing site and sound amidst all the pressures of the world is when the children of the family get together and make merry.. The bonding is what gives the relief. There is an easy conversation, cool spend of the time... Most of the times , its with the technology, be it FB, laptop, mobile or some Ipod kind of stuff.. Yes, they are very accommodative and also simple.
Somewhere, i always belonged to their company. There are no pretensions and hypocrisy and all that loose chillar stuff which has become the order of the day everywhere else...
I think i still like an amended form of joint family .... i grew up in joint family and i know the advantages of a joint family.. All the crap freedom in the name of nuclear family, individuality is responsible for degeneration of the individuals and we are all lost in the search of what we dont know..
I tend to get philosophical... ok, my first piece on the blog and hence this is experimental but very genuine as i am expereincing the kids around me... What kids.. they are not confused adolescents...

I totally agree with you on the "joint family" point, Sai Prasad...although I grew up in a nuclear family. I always longed for a grandpa in whose lap I could sit and listen to stories...but this was partly fulfilled when I found our neighbours' ajoba and I spent some very memorable times with him!
