shedding ...

I started writing an article which is more introspective titled " poverty of the self" and just shared with satish and he immediately asked me to open a blog of my own and he offered to read it for sure.. Now i have grusha and vrinda also promising to read... Thats a huge responsibility... especially when all these are smart , intelligent and good writers..

I could never finish writing that piece, but i am conquering the poverty of the self ..  today i succeeded great deal in that endeavor  as i spent most of the time with myself and not doing anything that can significantly be called productive...  but kitchen cleaning was almost my cleansing my mind of all dirt..

 listening to Mukesh gaana.. Saranga teri yaad mein and jis dil mein basa ta pyaar was the bright spot of the day..  Those songs have  all that it takes to feel refreshed ...

But honestly didnt feel patriotic today.. Didnt watch any TV, didnt listen to any patriotic songs, did not listen to any story of anyone talking of charity or how they love india...

Somehow all the patriotic fervour is there only in the sms's and facebooks and at the traffic signals when the flags are sold in different sizes and shapes...

Am i getting old... I dont mind if its like today where i am at my tolerant best and positive best.

CHILDREN OF MY FAMILY

One of the relaxing site and sound amidst all the pressures of the world is when the children of the family get together and make merry.. The bonding is what gives the relief. There is an easy conversation, cool spend of the time... Most of the times , its with the technology, be it FB, laptop, mobile or some Ipod kind of stuff..  Yes, they are very accommodative and also simple.

Somewhere, i always belonged to their company.  There are no pretensions and hypocrisy and all that loose chillar stuff which has become the order of the day everywhere else...

I think i still like an amended form of joint family ....  i grew up in joint family and i know the advantages of a joint family.. All the crap freedom in the name of nuclear family, individuality is responsible for degeneration of the individuals and we are all lost in the search of what we dont know..

I tend to get philosophical... ok, my first piece on the blog and hence this is experimental but very genuine as i am expereincing the kids around me... What kids.. they are not confused adolescents...
