What
is wrong if i repeat the cliche that Class is Permanent? How can anyone get tired talking, praising
and still not finding words to explain the feeling of listening to A.R.Rahman
one more master piece? Sooha saaha his latest from Highway movie makes me
wonder as to how could he compose this song which takes ordinary blokes like me
to listen 10 times and watch movie to have the basic appreciation. Now it got
on me and nothing makes me more happy and nothing else can take me high than
this song.
The
initial humming by alia bhatt seems like a deracination of the deep intrinsic sound
from somewhere hidden in the nature. You tend to get stuck with it as it seems
part of the self. The blend of 2 singers, Zeba and alia is something that is
like yin yang and 2 best things to happen to the world. The People who are unable to appreciate this,
what seems like an exaggeration do not know the song and sorry for saying this
in such measure.
I
do not claim to understand the lyrics completely as of now but i have gotten into
the skin of the feeling behind the lyrics for sure , with the advantage of having seen the
movie. I do not care on how technically it was recorded and plug ins used etc .
All i know without bias is that no one except A.R.Rahman could have created
this fantabulous music. I won’t forget to acknowledge the brilliance of Irshad
kamil. Actually this is most envious combination of Imtiaz ali, A.R Rahman and
Irshad ..Magic of rockstar is extended in this .
Imtiaz
ali understanding of the cinema and willingness to honestly present the movie
is beyond Indian cinema standards for sure. I am glad i got something to keep
close to my heart after a long time , since rockstar and aashiqui 2 ...
The
movie takes a high and high peaks at this song and making of song , emotional
depiction and unveiling of hooda’s characterisation and the bonding of the alia
and hooda is the highlight in the movie. Those 15 minutes has finest nuances of
highest order in sketch of 2 characters and do not miss just for that .
